How it works: The subscription of choice for nail polish addicts, the Julep Maven box comes filled with new nail polish colors plus other beauty products selected based on your style profile. We love the flexibility with this one: The company emails you on the 20th of every month with a preview of next month’s box, so you can choose to ship or skip. My April Birchbox is pretty awesome!
Here is the description card.
The difference between the Birchbox boxes and the other subscriptions that I have is that these are usually a little higher end. I don’t mind getting tea, but I don’t really like getting food as part of my box, I don’t know why. I guess I just want to receive something special, not something I can pick up at the grocery store.
Klorane Dry Shampoo: I love dry shampoo. This one smells great and works really well.
Cynthia Rowley Black Eyeliner: I am a blue-eyed blonde, and don’t wear black eye liner that often. I will try this one out, but it tends to be a bit harsh for me.
theBalm cosmetics Cheek and Lip Cream: I like the cheek and lip cream, and the color is good for me, especially now that I have a summer baseball tan going on. The packaging is too cute!
nyakio Kenyan Coffee Face Polish, Body Scrub and Hydrating Face Oil with Kola Nut: I haven’t tried this one yet!
…and there is my Kind bar. Sigh.
Still a pretty good box!
