I found this little table for $5 at the flea market a few months ago, and it has been sitting out in my storage, neglected. I realized that it would be the perfect size for a spot in my bathroom, and decided to spruce her up.
At first I was going to paint it white, but when I was going through my stash of Miss Mustard Seed milk paint, I saw my bag of Dried Lavender, and it was on!
I love MMS milk paint. I am essentially a horrible painter. I am impatient and messy. With milk paint, it doesn’t matter. It mixes up so easily, all you do is put the powder in a jar, add water, mix it up, and you are ready to paint. It comes in 18 awesome colors, and you can control the color with how much water you mix with it, and you can mix different colors together.
After the paint dried, less than 30 minutes, I applied some Miss Mustard Seed Dark Antiquing wax with my special MMS wax brush.
That’s when the paint started to chip, which I LOVE!!! After I buffed the wax, I think the results are even better than I expected! Whoop!
I also added that cute little knob that I had in my stash.
