Here is the quick and dirty from Wikipedia:
The books are based on the law of attraction, which determines the complete order of the universe and of our personal lives through the process of “like attracts like”. The author claims that as we think and feel, a corresponding frequency is sent out into the universe that attracts back to us events and circumstances on that same frequency. For example, if you think angry thoughts and feel angry, it is claimed that you will attract back events and circumstances that cause you to feel more anger. Conversely, if you think and feel positively, you will attract back positive events and circumstances. Proponents of the law claim that desirable outcomes such as health, wealth, and happiness can be attracted simply by changing one’s thoughts and feelings.
It suggests that if you are single and want to get married, for example, you would clean out the side of the garage that your husband’s car would go on, clean out his side of the closet, stop sleeping in the middle of the bed…in other words, live life like it has already happened.
I don’t know if I believe that “The Secret” can cure cancer, as some believe, but I am going to try and apply it to certain areas of my life and see what happens! I am going to live my life like I have already achieved all of my goals…except for the money part. They can arrest you for that!
What would your week look like if you were that person who you would be if everything was perfect? I can’t believe I typed that with a straight face. But seriously. I think (almost) everyone has goals and dreams, and has a mental picture of what life would be like if you achieved all of them. I am trying to plan out how my days would go if I had everything magically fall in to place. Within reason. We aren’t talking me winning the lottery, we are talking about my blog and business taking off, and me achieving my weight loss and fitness goals…something reasonable!
So I did my February Goals sheet, and this is what I am working on in February. (You can also see this post on 5 Steps to Make Your Goals Happen)
