I always love going to the Pickens Jockey Lot. A far as I am concerned, it is the best of the best in the flea market world. It is big enough that you can easily spend several hours there. There is live bluegrass music. The sellers there run from high priced dealers all the way to kids selling puppies. You can buy furniture, boiled peanuts, collectibles, groceries, tools, fresh produce, or some goats and chickens.
And yes, we bought a politically incorrect Confederate street sign.
We had a pretty good haul, despite the fact that it was pouring!
I found a ton of my favorite Big Top Peanut Butter glasses…
I love the cool blue box and miniature dough bowl we found! The dough bowl is a sample that salesmen would take door to door!
This cool gadget looks to be from the 40’s or 50’s…it is for filling shot glasses!
We always buy old lock sets when we find them, and of course I couldn’t turn down this piece of salt glaze pottery in my favorite color…
I don’t know what I am going to put in my double decker bread box yet, but I am thinking on it.
How cute is the label on my new peppermint jar?
Have you found any good junk lately??
